Natural History - Families (Ages 6 & Up)
The animals of the Walker Ranch ecosystems are all around, but they are experts at staying hidden. We are recruiting citizen detectives to help track their movements by identifying the secret clues they leave behind. Join this mission to learn about critters large and small and how to search for the amazing animals of Walker Ranch. This program is geared toward children ages 6 to 8, but all are welcome.

I grew up wandering the wilds of North Western Colorado and was always fascinated with how the world works. I moved to Minnesota for college and studied Biology then got a job in outdoor education in New England, I was hooked. Exploring and sharing outdoors every day was a dream. I moved back to Minnesota for a Naturalist training program and then to Illinois for grad school in Education. I returned to Colorado in 2006 to continue sharing and learning about nature every day!
