                    Alan M - Volunteer Naturalist
I’m originally from Northeast Ohio where I was an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) and lead nature programs at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio. I’ve always loved the outdoors, camping and hiking and would explore the thick woods of Ohio often. I moved to Colorado to experience the mountains and the culture of an active lifestyle. I most enjoy sharing my love for nature with others, particularly children and young adults.

                    Anna M - Volunteer Naturalist
My interest in the outdoors can be attributed to camping in the mountains as a child as well as growing up in a city with a strong nature focus – Boulder! I love going on bird walks, learning about plants and their properties, and exploring our state’s natural beauty. I particularly enjoy watching chickadees in my backyard and finding limber pines in the Rockies.

                    Heather V - Volunteer Naturalist
Heather Valey is a Texas Master Naturalist with a graduate certificate in Conservation Communication. She currently works as a nature educator with Colorado State Parks, where she led popular bat walks in Eldorado Canyon. Heather loves bringing the outdoors to life through stories and shared discoveries, inspiring people of all ages to see nature with curiosity and care.
