Volunteer Work Projects - All Ages Welcome
“If every day were Earth Day we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in.”— Neil deGrasse Tyson While many of us lead our lives like everyday was Earth Day, we invite you to join us in the celebration of it by planting native shrubs in a stream restoration project! This multi-objective restoration includes goals of floodplain connectivity, native fish passage, and improving riparian habitat with native plants! Our site is located along St. Vrain Creek, and on project day we will be planting between 150-200 shrubs! This involves digging with shovels and hand trowels, applying mulch and watering in every plant. The digging at this site could be a bit of a challenge, so we could really use your help! Sign up today and give the Earth a little extra love with us!
