CancelI have a BS in Marine Science from UH-Hilo. Currently in school for GIS and work as a geospatial analyst. I also work as a professional aquarium mermaid around the country and am a Scuba Instructor at Ocean First. I live in the foothills with my husband and four dogs. We love to be outdoors, identify, ask questions and be silly. I love everything water and geology. Lets nerd out on our environment and share it with the community <3
I enjoy being outdoors and delight in the harmony that nature’s diversity brings. As a volunteer naturalist, I hope to promote an increased appreciation of our natural environment and how important this connection is to individual and community well-being.
I got a BS in Zoology and did graduate work in Wildlife Management, but spent my career in IT as a programmer and network architect. Now that I am retired, I can spend more time enjoying nature. My favorite topics are wildlife, nature photography and astronomy.
