Natural History - All Ages Welcome
Are you curious about butterflies, or have you ever wondered where monarchs go during their incredible migration? Join volunteer naturalists for a beginner’s guide to our colorful local butterflies. This slideshow program will explore the amazing life cycle of butterflies and cover basic information on behavior, host plants, identification tips, and more.

I've always loved nature and the outdoors, I especially love hiking, birding, and backpacking. I'm on the Board of Directors of Colorado Field Ornithologists where I serve as treasurer. I have recently retired from my position as a Psychology and Neuroscience professor at the University of Colorado Denver and look forward to spending a lot more time outside and sharing my love of nature with others!
