Celebrate World Ranger Day with the Boulder County Park Rangers on Saturday, August 4 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Heil Valley Ranch! Learn how rangers protect the world’s wildlife to earn a ticket to a concert where you’ll sing, shake and shimmy with Kids House of Joy! The concert will start at approximately 12:15 p.m. This event is perfect for kids ages 5-12, but all family members are welcome. A parent or guardian must be present. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen and hiking shoes. This event is part of the Junior Ranger Adventures Summer Challenge. Learn more at at www.BoulderCountyOpenSpace.org/jr

Trace B - Volunteer Ranger Corps
Trace Baker is a member of the BCPOS Volunteer Ranger Corps. He has been an avid county trail user since moving to Boulder in 1992. His current outdoor activities are mountain biking, hiking, and backcountry skiing. Trace’s primary motivation for volunteering is to help other users have safe, informative, and fun experiences on BCPOS properties. POSAC member since 2019.
