Join us for an easy 3-mile walk around the wetlands. Enjoy a peaceful stroll around tranquil ponds teeming with life and surrounded by serene scenery. A few benches are available on the trail.

Retired Park Ranger, US National Park Service. Worked at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, Mojave National Preserve, Pinnacles National Park and 10 summers at Yellowstone National Park. Also volunteered as Park Patroller, Jefferson County Open Space.

I am a retired elementary teacher. I love to hike in Boulder County and walk caminos such as the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

I’ve lived in Colorado more than 25 years and am so happy to call it home. I grew up in Nebraska and started my career in New Jersey… most of that time I had my nose in a book. When I got to Colorado I discovered the great outdoors. I love to run (at a snail’s pace so I can soak in the scenery) on the many wonderful trails here in Boulder County. I am eager to share my passion for all that Nature has to offer with this community to which I feel so deeply connected.
