Join volunteer naturalists on a short hike to introduce you to iNaturalist and get you ready for the City Nature Challenge, an international event that encourages people to share observations of nature near their homes. Identify organisms from local lists, and use your smart phone or camera to take photos and upload them to the iNaturalist app. Sign up for an optional follow-up Zoom session on Saturday, April 16, 12-1 p.m. for a step-by-step tutorial on how to upload your photos. Soon you will be ready to "bioblitz" and contribute to the City Nature Challenge the last weekend in April!Maximum Participants: 15

I am a Colorado native who loves spending time in the great outdoors. I especically love hiking and running our trails and enjoying the native wildflowers.
I love to photograph and identify wildflowers. I enjoy many of the Boulder County parks, but I am most familiar with the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm.
