Natural History - All Ages Welcome
We wish upon falling stars and worry about asteroids in the neighborhood. Learn more about what a meteor shower is and what we are learning about “local” asteroids. The presentation takes place at the picnic shelter and is followed by stargazing with telescopes provided by the Longmont Astronomical Society in the parking area.

Deborah P - Volunteer Naturalist
I retired from Boulder County Parks & Open Space in 2022. I love sharing information about the natural world and our local history with children and adults. I also love teaching astronomy and helping people better understand how celestial motion works, and how dark skies are important to us all.
