Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. The Chicken & the Egg introduces kids to all the cool things about chickens, while surrounded by our own farm flock! All programs include a short story time, hands-on activities, and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fun on the Farm is the 2nd and 4th Fridays through September.

I retired from Boulder County Parks & Open Space in 2022. I love sharing information about the natural world and our local history with children and adults. I also love teaching astronomy and helping people better understand how celestial motion works, and how dark skies are important to us all.
