Natural History - All Ages Welcome
Look up as two of the brightest planets put on a rare show together. Join volunteer naturalists to explore how planets move across our sky and why Venus and Jupiter sometimes appear side by side. Learn easy tips for spotting planets and enjoy an evening sharing stories and views of our solar system. Presentations will be at the picnic shelter, followed by stargazing in the parking area. The Longmont Astronomical Society provides telescopes. Bring a chair or blanket, a light jacket, and a red flashlight, and get ready to enjoy a night under the stars!
