Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. Pollinators introduces kids to the pollinators all around us and then they get to create their own butterfly! All programs include a short story time, hands-on activities, and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fun on the Farm is the 2nd and 4th Fridays through September.
Registration is not required for this activity, but you can still sign up to be notified in case the event is unexpectedly canceled.

CancelAs a Colorado transplant from New England, our beautiful environment inspires me to explore our history, geography, native wildlife, plants, and natural resources. I enjoy spending time in my community with people of all ages, making connections between our ecosystems and our daily lives, and connecting the past with the present and future.
My mother's family were farmers in the midwest. I spent 18 years on a small farm east of Longmont raising farm animals and tending a huge garden. My kids were in 4-H for many years and showed their animals at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. My volunteer background includes Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center, Medical missions in Rwanda and Peru on the Amazon. I am one of the first Master Gardeners for Boulder County. I am a retired entrepreneur.
