Moose on the Loose!

Natural History - All Ages Welcome

Have you noticed that there are more moose in the high country than ever before? Join us for a moderate hike at Caribou Ranch to learn about the successful introduction of moose to Colorado. We'll discuss the past, present, and future of moose in Boulder County.

Minimum Participants: 5
Maximum Participants: 25

I’m a Kansas transplant who became attached to Colorado and dreamed of living there as an adult. As a child, my grandparents took me to CO every summer for nature study camp and hiking in the Rockies. My dream came true when I moved here 45 years ago. I find renewal in nature, I love hiking, birdwatching, and walking my dogs. I enjoy looking for wildlife and wildflowers on open space trails and in the mountains. I look forward to learning more about Boulder County nature and wildlife.
