Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail overview and Coalton Trail Bike Ride. The purpose of the field trip is to provide POSAC members with information about the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail and its connection into Boulder County via the Coalton Trail. The field trip will begin at 8 a.m. Meet rangers at the informal trailhead along Highway 128 between McCaslin Blvd and Highway 93 (see https://maps.app.goo.gl/ToQhNoUkvbSK9hV36 for directions). The parking area serves as a trailhead for the southern terminus of the Coalton Trail and OSMP’s High Plains Trail. Please bring your own bike. There are a limited number of bikes and e-bikes available to borrow. Registered attendees who wish to borrow a bike for this site visit should contact Bevin Carithers at [email protected] This site visit will not provide an opportunity for formal public comment. The tour is informational only and POSAC will not vote on matters related to this item.
