Join Boulder County's Weed Coordinator and fellow land management professionals for a collaborative field hike through a post-fire landscape where Rush Skeletonweed is actively establishing. This event is designed as a peer-to-peer exchange, offering space to examine the plant in situ, compare site conditions, and discuss how disturbance influences its spread. We’ll travel along a moderate, established trail, making frequent stops to look at vegetation response, burn severity, and current management challenges. Along the way, participants will be encouraged to share observations, compare strategies, and discuss practical approaches to post-disturbance monitoring, treatment timing, and prioritization. This event is tailored for practitioners interested in learning from one another and exploring real-world integrated management in a recovering landscape.
