Volunteer Work Projects
Hey there! Help us plant approximately 300 Ponderosa Pine seedlings at Heil Valley Ranch, which was severely burned when the Cal-Wood Fire erupted just north of Boulder in October 2020. Volunteers should be prepared for a day of physically demanding work on steep slopes, doing extensive digging, planting and hauling water to seedlings. Please be sure to pack a good lunch and snacks for this project. Project details including meeting location, project background and checklist of things to bring with you will be sent to the registration list a few days before the event. Due to the nature and location of this project, volunteers will not be able to come late or leave early. PLEASE NOTE: An online waiver must be filled out for EVERY participant. Please use the link to the online waiver provided after registration to sign prior to the volunteer work project. Thank you in advance for helping to care for this land, and hope to see you there!
