CancelI got a BS in Zoology and did graduate work in Wildlife Management, but spent my career in IT as a programmer and network architect. Now that I am retired, I can spend more time enjoying nature. My favorite topics are wildlife, nature photography and astronomy.
I am a recently retired graphic designer/art director and have lived in Colorado since 1991. Although my lengthy career had me sitting behind a computer, my first love is exploring the outdoors. I was also a kids’ ski instructor at Breck and Copper Mtn. which was so much fun. Boulder County has an amazingly diverse environment with so much wildlife and beautiful landscapes! I look forward to sharing the passion for the outdoors with fellow community members, their families and friends.
I grew up in northwestern Ohio. My favorite place was always outside. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology. Living in Colorado has been a great gift, and I need to give back to the community in appreciation for all I have received and experienced. Becoming a volunteer naturalist is the perfect way to meet that need. It combines my curiosity about the natural world, my love for the outdoors, and the opportunity to provide service to those who also call Boulder County home.
