Some birds are seen year-round in Boulder County, some only in summer or winter, and others visit only briefly in spring or fall. Learn why birds make seasonal journeys, how they know when and where to go, how they find their way, and what brings them back year after year. Sondra B - Volunteer Naturalist
I've always loved nature and the outdoors, I especially love hiking, birding, and backpacking. I'm on the Board of Directors of Colorado Field Ornithologists where I serve as treasurer. I have recently retired from my position as a Psychology and Neuroscience professor at the University of Colorado Denver and look forward to spending a lot more time outside and sharing my love of nature with others!
