I retired from Boulder County Parks & Open Space in 2022. I love sharing information about the natural world and our local history with children and adults. I also love teaching astronomy and helping people better understand how celestial motion works, and how dark skies are important to us all.
Hi, I'm John, a nature lover, activist, and lifelong learner. I'm passionate about learning, restoring, and protecting the natural world, and I love to share this passion with others. I’ve had a wide and varied career history, most recently as an Education & Outreach Seasonal for Boulder County and as an Urban Ranger for the City of Boulder.
