Using activities, we will learn about what is happening in the fall when the colors of nature show off. We'll look for animals that stand out or camouflage and examine the changes plants are going through as they all prepare for winter. This program is geared toward children ages 5 to 8, but all are welcome.

I grew up wandering the wilds of North Western Colorado and was always fascinated with how the world works. I moved to Minnesota for college and studied Biology then got a job in outdoor education in New England, I was hooked. Exploring and sharing outdoors every day was a dream. I moved back to Minnesota for a Naturalist training program and then to Illinois for grad school in Education. I returned to Colorado in 2006 to continue sharing and learning about nature every day!
