Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. Feathers & Fur will introduce kids to the different coverings animals wear: fur, feathers, wool, and scales! All programs include a short story time, hands-on activities, and a take-home craft. Afterwards, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fun on the Farm is the 2nd and 4th Fridays through September.

As a Colorado transplant from New England, our beautiful environment inspires me to explore our history, geography, native wildlife, plants, and natural resources. I enjoy spending time in my community with people of all ages, making connections between our ecosystems and our daily lives, and connecting the past with the present and future.
I retired from Boulder County Parks & Open Space in 2022. I love sharing information about the natural world and our local history with children and adults. I also love teaching astronomy and helping people better understand how celestial motion works, and how dark skies are important to us all.
