It's time to Pick at Peck! We might be picking seed we might be pulling weeds, but no matter what we do, we can't do it without YOU!! The Peck Native Seed Garden requires quite a bit of love to thrive. Join me at the garden and get your hands dirty on a full belly of sweet treats, fresh fruit, and cold drinks! *please expect kneeling and/or bending; shade tents provided!* What's a native seed garden? (you ask...) This is a garden full of wildflowers and grasses native to Boulder County, that Parks and Open Space ecologists use when completing ecological restoration all throughout the county. These plants have been our ecological “work horses”, and have supplied hundreds of pounds of seed to projects like: St. Vrain Creek flood restoration Heil Valley Ranch new trail head development Forestry slash pile rehab Trailside impacts and more!!! Sign up today! :o) With Love, Carrie | Boulder County Plant Ecologist and Native Seed Champion! “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Mahatma Gandhi
