Natural History - Adults (18 & older)
Join volunteer naturalists at Bald Mountain for an introduction to a meditative nature experience. We will practice mindful observation among the ponderosa pine, enjoy the quiet, take time to reflect, and appreciate the natural world. Participants will find a sit spot or engage in contemplative walking. We'll reflect together on what we've observed and on what we can still learn from nature.

Gwendolyn R - Volunteer Naturalist
Volunteer Naturalist class of 2018. I have a particular interest in birds, thanks to my maternal grandmother, but am fascinated by all aspects of the natural world. I also volunteer as a Birds of Special Concern monitor at Boulder Res and previously spent 3 seasons volunteering at the Wild Basin Ranger Station in Rocky Mountain National Park. When not volunteering, I work intermittently as an academic advisor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
