Agricultural Heritage Center Gardeners


Description:

Volunteers manage the World War I era Victory Garden (heirloom) at the Agricultural Heritage Center at the Lohr/McIntosh Farm.

Basic responsibilities include planning, planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting the garden. Optional duties include watering trees when needed and maintaining flower beds at the Agricultural Heritage Center.

Volunteer Job Description:

Work at least two one-hour shifts per month between late March and early November. Must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian during training and volunteer shifts.
